CPA
CPA Australia
One of three bodies authorised to assess accountants for skilled migration. Best-known and most widely used internationally.
CA ANZ
Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand
The chartered accountants pathway. Free assessment for full members. Highly respected for senior accounting roles.
IPA
Institute of Public Accountants
The third accounting assessment body. Often a faster or more affordable route for some applicants.
AHPRA
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
The umbrella body for health practitioner registration. Some health occupations have AHPRA-affiliated boards (Medical, Pharmacy, Optometry, etc.) that conduct assessment as part of registration.
AITSL
Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership
Assesses overseas-trained teachers for migration to Australia. Covers Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary teaching roles.
AASW
Australian Association of Social Workers
The designated body for social workers (ANZSCO 272511). Strict on fieldwork hours and English proficiency.
APS
Australian Psychological Society
Conducts skills assessment for psychologists seeking skilled migration. (Note: APAC accredits the programs, APS assesses the individuals.)
ADC
Australian Dental Council
The assessing authority for overseas-trained dentists and dental specialists. Exam-based pathway.
